Reflection Log

Instructions for Students:

Be Honest: Reflect honestly on your strengths and areas for improvement.

Be Specific: Provide specific examples of what you have learned and what you plan to work on.

Set Achievable Goals: Ensure that the goals you set are realistic and within your reach for the next session.

Review Regularly: Look back at your previous reflections to see how much you have progressed and adjust your goals as needed.

Additional Tips for Effective Reflection:

Stay Positive: Focus on your achievements and progress, not just the challenges.

Seek Feedback: Don’t hesitate to ask your instructor for feedback on your reflection log to gain additional insights.

Consistency: Try to fill out your reflection log as soon as possible after each lesson to capture your thoughts while they're fresh.

WHAT'S NEXT

I have passed my Theory Test

Congratulations on passing your Theory Test! You now have two options to prepare for your driving test.

Please review the options below and make a choice that best suits you.

Option 1: Walk, Jog, and Sprint

We book your test based on the current availability, which is about 24 weeks from now (don't worry, it will go by quickly).

We continue with or ensure to have regular lessons (walking pace) and nearer the time we may need to make this a ( jog ) or ( sprint ) to the finish line.

Jog or Sprint may need to increase the frequency of lessons or add some intensive sessions.

Option 2: Sprint now, walk later

We will book your test based on the current availability, which is approximately 24 weeks from now (don't worry, it will go by quickly). This booking serves as a placeholder. Then we increased the frequency of lessons or we may schedule some intensive sessions or a course (though these are not suitable for everyone).

When we agree you're 110% ready, we'll look for a cancellation slot. Many tests become available with 3 to 10 days' notice.

Driving Test Readiness Form

Driving Test Readiness Form based on the DVSA 'Ready to Pass' campaign

The DVSA, the organization behind the driving test, has created the "Ready to Pass" campaign, which outlines the 27 skills required to pass your driving test. A few weeks before the driving test, please be objective when completing this form and submitting it to me. You can view the campaign here: https://readytopass.campaign.gov.uk/

This form has been created by us to gather answers to the questions posed by the DVSA from their checklist available to vivew at https://assets.dft.gov.uk/dvsa/ready-to-pass/ready-to-pass-checklist.pdf
